The Business Development team is looking for a new member to join its ranks to serve as the global lead for all of our payments relationships. You will interact daily with members of our product team as well as our partners. You will drive value through establishing new and influential partnerships. All of this while being part of a dynamic and encouraging team.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Provides vision, experience and thought leadership to the global payment channel
  • Establish and maintain executive-level contacts with partner companies to influence support of Vindicia's products and clients
  • Develops new acquirer and payment facilitator partner relationships – prospecting, business development, contract negotiations, account setup and launch
  • Educate yourself and share information across the organization about the payment trends in North America, EMEA, APAC and CALA
  • With a knack for account management and cultivating relationships, you will handle marketing programs and materials, sales training, user conferences, etc., in order to improve throughput of each partner
  • Provide mentoring, direction and guidance to sales personnel; conduct and participate in regular team meetings with the sales team to ensure knowledge sharing among regions
  • Drive new business opportunities for the sales team from the payments partner channel
  • You will have a real passion for developing new strategic alliances, partnerships, referral relationships, and reseller relationships. These will drive additional transactions, merchants, product revenue or differentiation and help bring in top/bottom line revenue to Vindicia
  • Act as the key liaison between Vindicia and specific third-party companies (VARS and outside partners)
  • Influence and work with partners to certify Vindicia’s platform
  • Provide timely communications to Vindicia’s product group, relative to market priorities and integration/support issues with particular VARs
  • Conduct and participate in regular team meetings with clients and the sales force to ensure knowledge sharing among the various channels

Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in payments within account management, business development or product management
  • 5-10 years of related work experience in the areas of sales, marketing, and account management
  • Strong partner development skills to include growth and service strategies
  • Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience making business presentations to clients, prospects and/or partners
  • Problem solving and customer service
  • Willingness to travel/attend seminars and meetings
  • Salesforce experience
