As the Director of Information Security, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization's security posture by ensuring implementation of security controls, measures, policies, and procedures. You will be working with Vindicia's CTO.

What will you do?

  • Define, deliver, and support strategic plans for implementing information security
  • Understand, evaluate, and respond to security incidents
  • Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating outcomes and trends, identifying problems, and anticipating requirements
  • Conduct the information security risk assessment program. Review compliance with policies and associated procedures
  • Update and maintain risk register for the organization. Provide periodic reporting on information security issues to management
  • Keep up to date with emerging security threats and alerts. Conduct research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security improvement and development efforts
  • Perform leads and commissions activities related to contingency planning, business continuity management, and IT disaster recovery in conjunction with significant functions and third parties
  • Respond to and analyze business unit requests, ensuring CIA (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) of customer and Vindicia data and providing solutions without business interruptions
  • Perform routine line management and leadership of staff within the Information security management function
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the security management function, including planning and budgeting
  • Lead the design and operation of related compliance monitoring and improvement activities to ensure compliance both with internal security policies and applicable laws and regulations
  • Work with different groups to provide, on time, the right answers that address customer security needs
  • Lead or commission suitable information security awareness, training, and educational activities
  • Collaborate with customers and prospects to communicate security information to them and lead security reviews
  • Work with internal corporate security resources to ensure compliance with internal standards

Critical Experiences

  • Full-time work experience in information
  • In-depth knowledge of security architectural consideration from end-to-end security perspective
  • In-depth knowledge of information security concepts and methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of compliances (PCI DSS and SSAE-18 SOC 2) and IS standards (ISO 27001, BS25999, ISO 20000, OWASP, and so on)
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management methodologies and approach
  • Knowledge of Secure SDLC methodology

Credentials

  • Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • CISA/CISM preferable
  • CISSP/CEH preferable
