Vindicia is looking to hire a Field Marketing Specialist, reporting to the Head of Marketing, to work on-site at our San Mateo, California office. In this role, you will provide lead event organization and management, support our account-based marketing and demand generation activities, and be responsible for marketing operations and support. The role will require close collaboration with the rest of Marketing team as well as the Sales organization. The ideal candidate is experienced, agile, impeccably organized, and an excellent communicator.


Account-based marketing

  • Support the creation and execution of a sustainable account-based marketing strategy that addresses the business relationship and growth goals of Sales organization in the selected key accounts
  • Organize customer workshops and Vindicia-specific conferences aiming to improve the level of partnership with key targeted accounts and generate demand for Vindicia solutions
  • Support the development and support of customer references from selected accounts

Demand generation support

  • Live event research and event logistics management, including communication with event staff, speaker procurement and event asset inventory and shipments
  • End-to-end webinar operations, from content, to promotions, to building programs on our marketing automation tool, and follow-up to move opportunities down the funnel
  • Work closely with our Business Development and Alliances team, managing and optimizing marketing partner activities to increase industry reach
  • Collaborate on new campaigns and strategies to increase market exposure
  • Email campaign support

Marketing operations and support

  • Complex calendar management for marketing events and campaigns
  • Marketing program deliverables tracking and updates
  • Conduct resource management for creative, production and technology teams
  • Contacts management – track and organize contact sources, data cleanup, list uploads, supplemental research, segmentation – ready for marketing outbound activities
  • Budget support and supplier/PO/invoicing request management
  • General assistance and support to the marketing team with ongoing projects and events


  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in marketing preferred – experience in software/technology industry for subscription billing is a plus
  • Highly motivated, creative self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Aptitude for embracing, learning, and executing projects on new software applications such as Google Analytics, Marketo, AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Canva
  • Currently living in the greater San Francisco / Oakland / San Jose / Silicon Valley / Bay Area
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Google Docs
  • Fiercely organized and quick to respond thoughtfully to verbal and written exchanges
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Comfortable with giving and receiving feedback
  • Able to think strategically, plan, and execute quickly and resourcefully, both autonomously and as part of a broader team
  • Able to efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Minimal travel and participation in company marketing events, trade shows, and other travel as needed
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Photoshop and InDesign is a bonus
