You are an experienced field Presales Solutions Engineer with a high level of personal drive, outstanding technical communication skills, action-oriented personality, the ability to think “outside the box,” a problem solver, and have excellent presentation skills. You feel comfortable working in a data-rich and dynamic environment, putting various pieces of the puzzle together to craft a coherent picture.

What will your job look like?

  • Align current and future Vindicia product capabilities to the market requirements of our prospective clients

  • Effectively demonstrate the key functional aspects of the Vindicia product offerings and communicate the business value of the Vindicia solution set

  • Drive the technical conversation and communicate to technical and non-technical audiences the value of Vindicia’s offerings

  • Build relationships with prospective clients and end-users to secure orders

  • Schedule and make technical, accurate and professional presentations

  • Provide analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate

  • Understand and communicate billing and payments best practices

  • Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems

  • Manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically

  • Provide solutions engineering support to internal departments as required

  • Interact with internal product, engineering and support personnel, external partner personnel, and clients

All you need is...

  • Five or more years of prior experience as a Sales/Solutions Engineer working with enterprise customers

  • Web-based application experience – SOAP/RESTful-based APIs and SaaS deployment models

  • Experience with Linux and Linux-based tools

  • Technical aptitude – a technical generalist who learns quickly

  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written

  • Strong business sense and be technical and analytical

  • Proficient at multi-tasking and proactive in work responsibilities

  • Superior attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Proficient at Microsoft Excel and Office tools

  • A background in billing and/or the payments space is desired

  • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field of study or equivalent relevant work experience (5 years) is desired

  • Must be available to travel within the region roughly 25% of the time
