First Things First: Our Clients

Wednesday was a pretty big day at Vindicia. If you didn’t see the news, we announced that we’ve been acquired by Amdocs. As expected, Wednesday featured some speeches, presentations, a celebratory lunch, and champagne.

Thursday morning, as I was driving into work, I had a quick chat with one of my team members. He had one quick question about the announcement, but really, he’d called to talk about the season launch of DIRECTV’s NFL OTT offering. (It went gangbusters, and he wanted to understand how to present the data results for them).

The rest of my day followed a similar pattern – quick questions about new titles and vacation policies, but mostly just a focus on our clients. On the whole, I spent most of my day focused on what we normally do – meeting the needs of our clients.

I couldn’t be more proud of the team. They have absolutely earned a bit of a victory lap. The acquisition is the culmination of years of hard work, including untold late nights and weekends. It would be easy to get lost in that excitement for a few days, but the team is really excited about how this will benefit our clients. Client success has always been at the core for Vindicia. Everything from our pricing model to our delivery strategy is aligned around mutual benefit and continuous improvement. I have to admit to an intense feeling of pride that the culture shines so brightly at such an exciting time as this. Well done to the team, and many thanks to our clients – without whom, we wouldn’t be here.
